The Lodge Harrogate is frequently praised for its excellent location, being just around the corner from the town center and a short walk from the train station. Guests appreciate the cozy and warm rooms, many of which are large and well-furnished, some offering great views from loft spaces. A useful fridge is provided in each room and several guests mentioned the comfortable beds and good showers; however, some found attic rooms a bit small with sloping ceilings. Guests can also find EV chargers available in the car park of the sister hotel next door.

Some Issues Encountered During My Stay

small basin cramped room
The room size was a major issue I had. It felt cramped, especially with the sloping roof. I had to be careful not to hit my head when accessing the fridge. Also the basin in the bathroom was too small, it made simple tasks like brushing my teeth awkward because a shelf blocked access.

useful iron strong pressure shower hair dryer
The room had an ironing board and an iron. It was useful. A hairdryer was also available. The shower had strong pressure, which I found refreshing.
The TV placement was slightly awkward due to a bed post obstructing the view sometimes.
